Plockton Thatched Cottage "An Taigh-Dubh" is situated in a sheltered and peaceful location at the point of Rhu in the heart of Plockton village. A short stroll along the little causeway accross the shore from the cottage takes you to the iconic red phone box in the middle of Harbour Street, the main road through the village. By road you would turn off Harbour Street along Cooper Street then past the post office which just takes a couple of minutes, also an easy walk. The thatched cottages's central but quiet location with its own parking space and easy access to the shore makes it an ideal base from which to enjoy all Plockton has to offer.
